MOTORISTS faced delays on the A14 today after a motorcyclist skidded off his bike near Bury St Edmunds.
The accident happened in the westbound carriageway between junctions 42 and 40 at around 10.40am.
A Suffolk police spokesman said no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
He said paramedics were called but the motorcyclist’s injuries were not thought to be serious.
Traffic built up in the area as recovery crews removed the bike from the carriageway.
