A two-vehicle crash involving a lorry on the A14 near Newmarket caused delays for morning commuters.

Police and paramedics were called to the accident at the westbound A142 Exning junction at just before 6.55am today.

No injuries were reported in the collision between a DAF lorry and a Ford Ka, a Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said.

One lane was reportedly closed during the morning rush hour but the dual carriageway had fully reopened by 10am.
