TWO sections of the A14 have reopened today following serious crashes.
The Cambridge-bound carriageway of the road was closed at Newmarket at about 5.15am following a collision which left a lorry driver with life-threatening injures.
At just after 2pm that road was completely reopened.
And the A14 Ipswich-bound at Levington was reopened at about 12.30pm following a crash at about 8.30am which left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.
He suffered a series of broken bones but his injuries are no longer thought to be life-threatening.
