The A140 near Thwaite is currently blocked southbound after a crash between a van and a lorry.

The crash happened at around 3.15pm today (September 11) on the southbound carriageway.

Police are at the scene, with tailbacks expected as rush hour approaches.

There are not thought to be any serious injuries and police said the road is partially blocked.
