BELLE VUE boss Chris Morton has explained why the Aces missed out on the possible signing of Piotr Swiderski, who has now joined Lakeside.
The Kirkmanshulme Lane club have a 28-day facility to replace absent reserve Billy Forsberg with guests, but are in the market for a new rider.
Morton said: "Swiderski told us he had a number of considerations to make about coming to Belle Vue. One was that he had a busy schedule in Europe but another was that he wasn't keen on joining us because we are a Monday night track."
