Students and staff at Felixstowe Academy raised more than £1,200 for Children in Need from a day of varying activities.
The academy introduced a “busking” point this year, with Sixth Form and Year 11 musicians playing to students during break times, while other activities included fancy dress, sports challenges, face painting, teacher DJs, and a cake sale which raised £227.
Youngsters at Fairfield Infants, High Road West, Felixstowe, also had plenty of fun with a non-uniform day with youngsters dressing up as a range of characters plus a cake sale.
At Great Eastern Square, Felixstowe, there were stalls, face painting and balloon modelling, and live music among the attractions at Dexters Bar on the old railway platform.
In Leiston, sixth form students at Alde Valley Academy organised their annual Children in Need Variety Show at lunch-time with students and staff taking the opportunity to show off their talents to raise money for the BBC appeal.
