Police were called at around 3.40pm to reports of a crash involving a car and a cyclist in Needham Road.
An ambulance from the East of England Ambulance Service and the East Anglian Air Ambulance attended, and were with the patient for more than an hour before he was flown to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with life-threatening head injuries.
