Air ambulance called after incident at Kennett off-road racetrack

A man was taken to hospital with injuries to his abdomen after an incident at an off-road racetrack on the Suffolk border.

A crew from the East Anglian Air Ambulance attended the incident on Saturday in Kennett, near Newmarket, arriving at the scene just after noon.

Dr Dan Nevin, Dr Alex Cross and critical-care paramedic Pete Sago treated a man in his early thirties who had suffered injuries to his abdomen.

The patient was then taken to the West Suffolk Hospital by East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust ambulance.
