AN air ambulance was today dispatched to a crash in north Suffolk in which a driver suffered suspected serious injuries.

Firefighters had to cut the roof of a car to release two trapped motorists after a crash in north Suffolk.

Two cars - a Vauxhall Tigra and a Fiat Panda - were in collision on the Beccles Road, Carlton Colville, near Lowestoft, shortly before 3pm.

Two of the three people involved in the accident were trapped in one of the cars, but they were released by firefighters who cut the roof off their vehicle.
