A man had to be taken to hospital yesterday after his leg was crushed by a large wheel.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) was called to a business in London Road, Capel St Mary at 6.17pm yesterday (June 25).
An ambulance crew, Hazardous Area Response Team, and the East Anglian Air Ambulance attended to find a man who had a half-ton wheel fall on him and crush his leg.
The patient – a man in his 50s – suffered a broken leg and was treated at the scene. He was also given pain relief.
He was taken by land ambulance to Ipswich Hospital for further treatment.
