Air medics help woman in 20s after heart attack in Bury St Edmunds

Medics with the East Anglian Air Ambulance helped a woman who suffered a cardiac arrest in Bury St Edmunds this afternoon.

The team arrived on scene at 2.08pm to the woman in her 20s.

They anaesthetised the patient and escorted her with East of England Ambulance Service staff in a land ambulance to West Suffolk Hospital for treatment.

Her condition is described as critical.
