Air rifle among items stolen in raid on Woodbridge home

Burglars have stolen an air rifle, a 26-inch TV and a quantity of jewellery after breaking into a home in Peterhouse Crescent in Woodbridge.

The offenders broke in via the front door before making a search of the property and stealing items including the BSA Ultra SE .22 air rifle in a green bag that also contained air pellets, two necklaces – one featuring a bird holding a heart pendant and the other a large flower shape pendant – and the TV.

A police spokeswoman said the incident happened between 4.30pm and 7.45pm on Tuesday and appealed for anyone in the area who saw anything suspicious to call Suffolk Coastal CID on 101.
