PREPARATIONS are already under way for this year’s Aldeburgh Carnival.
The annual celebration is scheduled to take place from August 17 to 19, with the theme for this year’s event being “By-the-Seaside”.
Members of the public are welcome to join the Carnival Club at its AGM on Tuesday, March 19, from 8pm at the Moot Hall, for an opportunity to catch up with plans.
Applications to join the Carnival Club will also be available at the AGM.
Restricted budgeting and public generosity provided a modest surplus on last year’s carnival but the committee has been able to provide small grants to help worthy causes.
