A lifeboat was launched from Aldeburgh after a yacht ran aground in the River Alde.
Thames coastguard requested the launch of the Aldeburgh inshore lifeboat to assist a 26 foot yacht that had ran aground in the River Alde near Iken church at about 2.30pm.
Shortly before arriving on scene, the yacht managed to remedy the problem.
The lifeboat crew met the yacht to check everything was fine before returning to the station.
