A 26-year-old Lowestoft man is due in court this morning in connection with a burglary in Aldeburgh when a coin collection, gold rings and a silver clock were stolen.

Charles Hales, of Denmark Road in Lowestoft, was arrested yesterday and charged with the burglary of a home in Fairfield Road on Monday, February 24.

He was interviewed by detectives before being charged and detained in custody overnight to appear at Lowestoft Magistrates’ Court this morning.
