WORLD Cup winner Krzysztof Kasprzak and former British Under-21 Champion Lewis Bridger have both agreed to join the Coventry Bees in a dramatic mid-season re-shuffle.

Polish ace Kasprzak, 25, comes in to form a new-look spearhead alongside skipper Chris Harris, with Rory Schlein switching to Elite League rivals Peterborough.

He was able to be declared into the Peterborough side on his starting average as a replacement for Bridger, with that declaration being made before the Showground side were issued with new averages which, like the Bees, takes place on Thursday

Bridger, 20, moves in the opposite direction from the Showground to Brandon and joins the Bees with Filip Sitera also released. Bridger’s average goes down to 4.24, effective on Thursday.

Both should make their debut at Ipswich on Thursday.
