All lanes of the A14 westbound have been reopened at Stowmarket following an earlier three car crash.
The accident, which took place just after 6pm, involved a Mini Cooper, a Peugeot 206 and a Nissan Almera.
Fire crews attended and freed one person from one of the cars involved, and ambulance crews treated five people - one female for chest and neck pains and four for minor injuries. One person was taken to West Suffolk Hospital for further treatment.
The westbound carriageway was initially closed, however one lane has since been reopened.
The road reopened completely just before 9.30pm.
