EMERGENCY services were called to Ipswich town centre after an alleged assault.
The East of England Ambulance Service was called to Upper Brook Street at 3.31am today.
A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said that the incident had left a 25-year-old man suffering with neck injuries.
He was taken to Ipswich Hospital to be treated.
