A man was rescued after the car he was in came off the road on a double bend and ended up in a ditch.
Fire crews were called at around 10.30pm last night to the A134 in Alpheton, near Lavenham.
The man was freed by firefighters using cutting gear to release him from the vehicle, a blue Volvo S40.
A police spokesman said they and the ambulance service also attended. He added: “There was one vehicle involved and no injuries. The car came off the road and ended up on its roof in a ditch. The male driver had been reported as conscious and breathing at the scene.”
Recovery of the Volvo is expected this morning.
