Emergency services were called on bank holiday Monday after a man collapsed in Southwold.
The man, in his 60s, was treated by paramedics following the incident in Ferry Road at around 12.05pm.
The East of England Ambulance Service sent an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and a community first responder to the scene.
The man was then taken to James Paget Hospital in Gorleston for further care.
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service Trust said: “We were called to reports of a man who had collapsed on Ferry Road, Southwold at 12.05pm on Monday, August 28.
“An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and a community first responder attended and treated a man in his 60s.
“He was taken to James Paget Hospital for further care.”
Ferry Road is a coastal road in Southwold, close to Blackshore harbour and the beach. Southwold Lifeboat Station is also situated at the end of the road.
