Suffolk and Essex Small Animal Welfare (SESAW) highlighted the work of a group of apprentices from Delphi, who repaired and renovated various buildings during the summer.

The dedicated group became a familiar sight around the sanctuary and the pig enclosure was also transformed, much to the delight of newly arrived Kunekune couple Bob and Peggy.

A spokeswoman for SESAW said: “Trustees and volunteers send a heartfelt thank you to the Delphi apprentices who are a credit to themselves, the company and the community.”

Delphi thanked Ridgeons – the timber and builders merchants in Sudbury – who were very generous with the supply of materials and advice for the project.

Ridgeons has continually supported Delphi’s community projects in the area.
