The event, held at Stonham Barns, situated between Ipswich and Stowmarket, is due to run from 9.30am-1.30pm on February 10.
The East Anglia Potato Day returns for its 22nd year this weekend, featuring more than 80 starchy varieties and opportunities for chip tasting and seed swaps.
Favourite varieties expected to feature include Mayan Gold, a buttery and creamy variety with genes from a near relative of the potato; the red and white skinned Mayan Twighlight and Sarpo Mira, a heavy-cropping, blight resistant and flavoursome variety of potato.
The event also boasts stalls from Ipswich Wildlife Trust, the National Allotment Association, Hedgehog Rescue, and the Stowmarket Beekeepers Association.
Julian Turner, one of the event’s organisers, said: “All potatoes are the same. Or are they? East Anglia Potato Day likes to offer the varieties that are not a matter of taste alone but look different.”
