RUSH hour traffic was delayed this morning for motorists travelling towards Ipswich on the A12.
A stretch of the northbound road was closed temporarily following a collision between two cars and a tractor.
The crash happened at around 7.15am between junction 26 Eight Ash Green and junction 27 at the Colchester bypass.
No one was injured in the crash but police initiated rolling road blocks while the scene was cleared.
By 7.45am the road had reopened and congestion was beginning to ease.
