ANOTHER British soldier has been killed in Afghanistan, it emerged today.
The soldier, from 28 Engineer Regiment, attached to the Brigade Reconnaissance Force, died today following an explosion in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said.
The third British serviceman to die in three days, he was killed in an explosion near Check Point Shamal Storrei in the Nad-e Ali District of Helmand Province. His next of kin have been informed.
The MoD said his death was connected to Operation Moshtarak, the major offensive to take back Taliban strongholds in the province.
