PROTESTORS are staging a demonstration at Sizewell power station today.
Campaigners against the nuclear programme on the Suffolk coast are holding the protest to show their anger at the plans to build two nuclear reactors on the site, which was announced by the Government this week.
They are also using the two day event outside the entrance to Sizewell A and B to mark the 23rd anniversary of the world's worst nuclear disaster - Chernobyl.
A letter is being handed to the director of Sizewell B addressing their concerns and a camp is being set up on the beach, where the protestors are planning to sleep overnight.
