POLICE have appealed for information after a man who crashed his mobility scooter into a lamp post later died.
Patrick Randall was involved in the accident on a footpath behind the cemetery in Lord Holland Road, Colchester, on February 12 at 4.35pm.
The 62-year-old, of Layer Road in the town, was taken by ambulance to Colchester General Hospital and discharged after treatment but died on February 25.
Now police are appealing for anyone who saw Mr Randall on the blue mobility scooter before the accident or who helped care for him in the immediate aftermath to contact Stanway Road Policing Unit on 0300 333 4444 extension 13146.
