A man suffered a leg injury during a hit-and-run collision on a zebra crossing.
The victim was using the crossing in Old Road, Clacton-on-Sea around 7pm on Friday, January 26 when he collided with a car.
The vehicle failed to stop at the scene, a spokesman for Essex Police said.
The pedestrian was not seriously hurt.
Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Pc Nigel Taplin at the Stanway Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting incident 873 of 26/01.
