Police have cordoned off an area in Ipswich town centre having received an allegation of sexual assault.
It is reported to have taken place in the early hours of this morning in an alleyway between Cromwell Square and Friars Street.
Specialist officers are supporting the female victim and a cordon will remain in place at the scene while an investigation is carried out.
