ARMED response police officers were dispatched in a Suffolk town this evening following reports that a man had produced a handgun on a bus.
A member of the public contacted the police at about 4.55pm to say that a man on a bus had made a threat to another passenger before showing the weapon.
He then got off the bus at Cambridge Drive, Ipswich.
Armed response officers were dispatched to the scene. Suffolk police confirmed this evening that officers were now questioning a man about the incident.
