ARMED police were called to an address in Ipswich tonight after reports that a man had a sword.
ARMED police were called to an address in Ipswich tonight after reports that a man had a sword.
Officers attended around 6pm and entered a property in Little Gipping Street.
They arrested a 33-year-old man for affray and he is now being questioned at Ipswich Police Station.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Constabulary said: “At 6pm we received reports of a man with a sword at an address in Ipswich.
“Armed police attended and entered the property and detained a 33-year-old male from there for affray.”
