A man was arrested at Ipswich rail station this afternoon after he became aggressive and had to be restrained.
Suffolk police were called to the scene just before 4pm to deal with the male who was detained by officers on the train which was due to leave for Lowestoft.
A spokesman said the incident took place in the toilet of the train which was stationary on Platform 1.
It led to Greater Anglia having to cancel the 4.17pm service and also had a knock on effect as the 6.07pm from the Suffolk resort was started at Beccles.
A spokesperson for the rail company said the correct schedule would then come into place.
