An altercation between two men in their 20s left one of the men with a broken nose and suspected fractured bone.
The fight happened around 6pm on February 20 in Exning Road, Newmarket, close to Costcutters.
The following day, a 24-year-old man from Newmarket was arrested on suspicion of assault and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre (PIC) for questioning. He has been released on bail until April 14 pending further enquiries.
Anyone who witnessed the altercation should contact police on 101.
