A MAN has been taken to hospital and four others arrested following a large fight in Felixstowe.
Bats and sticks are believed to have been used as weapons when the brawl, involving at least ten men, broke out at about 7.15pm last night.
Suffolk police received numerous calls from the public about the fight outside the Ordnance Hotel in Undercliff Road West.
A 35-year-old man was taken to hospital with head injuries, but he later released himself from hospital.
Up to 12 police officers attended the scene and arrested four men on suspicion of various crimes including inflicting grievous bodily harm and breaching the peace.
Suffolk police officers are still investigating, and anyone with information about the fight should call 01473 613500.
