A POLICE investigation has been launched after a suspected arson at a property in Essex last night.

A POLICE investigation has been launched after a suspected arson at a property in Essex last night.
Firefighters were called to Jaywick, just before 2.30am, where a chalet was well-alight.
Crews from Clacton used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to tackle the fire, which is believed to have been started by an arsonist, within an hour.
The owners of the property were out at the time and no one was injured.
Scenes of crime investigators from Essex Police have been at the scene this morning.

Two fire crews from Clacton attended the incident in Sunbeam Avenue.
