FIRE ripped through a garage in Lowestoft last night, destroying more than £10,000 worth of valuables.Firefighters spent three hours dealing with the blaze, which completely destroyed a garage behind a block of flats, on the junction of London Road South and Windsor Road.

Firefighters spent three hours dealing with the blaze, which completely destroyed a garage behind a block of flats, on the junction of London Road South and Windsor Road.

Four engines from Normanshurst and Clifton Road fire stations were called to the fire at 7.57pm.

The fire was under control by 10.58pm and nobody was hurt but police are treating the cause as arson.
