Firefighters tackled a rubbish bin and fence panel blaze after arsonists struck in Stowmarket
A crew from the town was called to Fairfield Hill at 8.50pm yesterday to fight the blaze which was “suspicious”.
A spokeswoman for the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said: “It was a malicious fire, started in a rubbish bin which then spread to the fence.”
She confirmed the blaze was being treated as arson.
The flames were put out by 9.05pm.
