Audi driver accused of failing to stop after hitting pedestrian in St Margaret’s Street, Ipswich

A driver has been accused of failing to stop after injuring a pedestrian in a road accident last night.
A 34-year-old woman was walking along St Margaret’s Street, Ipswich, when she was reportedly struck by a black Audi car, which continued without stopping at around 7.20pm.
Suffolk police said the woman was taken to Ipswich Hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-changing.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call police on 101.
