Speedway: Ipswich Witches star Troy Batchelor is set to replace the injured Adam Shields in the Australia team for tonight's Speedway World Cup final at Leszno.

The Aussies were clear winners of Thursday's Race-Off, which also saw Sweden pip Great Britain for the last place in the final.

Shields was injured in the closing stages of the meeting when he suffered a collarbone injury. He had come into the team when Ryan Sullivan failed to show for practice ahead of the Race-Off.

Australia star Leigh Adams said: "It was a fantastic performance, we were strong all the way through, and the only down side was the injury to Adam. He rode his socks off. But Troy will do well, we know that.”
