KENNETH Hansen is a major doubt for Monday's match at Wolverhampton after crashing last night in Denmark. Hansen, riding for his Danish club Slangerup, at Esbjerg, was temporarily knocked unconscious following a racing accident and was subsequently withdrawn by the meeting doctor, suffering from concussion.

The situation should be clearer by the weekend as Hansen was due to be one of the track reserves at the Nordic Grand Prix in Vojens, Denmark on Saturday. Kenneth has withdrawn from Fridays practice at Vojens but a final decision as to whether he will line up on Saturday has still to be taken.

Panthers will be forced to utilise rider replacement if Hansen is missing on Monday and Panthers team Manager Trevor Swales said: “This news isn't good and clearly Kenneth is now very doubtful for the match at Monmore, if he rides he must be fit, but he has had a serious bang to the head and its looking very unlikely, I have spoken to him this morning and he isn't feeling good but a final decision will be taken in a few days”.
