Freddie Hopkinson, 39, of Hadham Road, Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire was disqualified from driving for six months at Colchester Magistrates’ Court yesterday (February 21) morning.

He was then arrested on the A120 at Braintree at 1.20pm.

Hopkinson is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on April 9, 2018.

He was disqualified under the ‘totting up’ procedure. Under this rule, drivers who receive 12 or more penalty points within three years face automatic disqualification.
