A SINGLE crew from Bury St Edmunds pumped water out of a house after reports of a leak.
Firefighters went to Autumn Close, Barrow, at about half one yesterday after the homeowner said water from a burst pipe was affecting electrics and causing the ceiling to bow.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said crews worked to isolate the leak, which was in the loft space.
Firefighters removed as much as the water as possible and called electricians to assess the damage.
Bury were back at base by 3pm.
