A woman has been taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries after the tandem bicycle she was riding collided with a car.
A man who was also riding the tandem has also been taken to hospital with less serious injuries.
The crash happened near the A14 junction of the A11 at about 3.45pm today.
Police a silver Toyota collided with a tandem bike, injuring both riders. The female rider, whose age has not yet been confirmed, was taken to Adenbrooke’s Hospital with multiple injuries. The male rider was also hurt, but not as seriously.
The northbound road is still shut as officers investigate the scene.
