Drivers across the across the county are being warned to take care this morning as a second day of wintry conditions is due to hit.

The Met Office increased its weather warning for the eastern and coastal areas of the region last night with heavy showers expected until 10am this morning.

A yellow warning remains in place for more westerly parts of the region.

Police attended a number of weather related incidents across the region in the wake of snowfall on Tuesday morning.

Train operator Greater Anglia said on Tuesday evening that it expects to run services as normal today but that alterations could still happen if conditions change.
