POLICE investigating the sudden death of an elderly man found collapsed with his bicycle have released his identity.
Officers were called to Ashwell Road in Bury St Edmunds at about 7.45am on Sunday after the man was discovered in the street.
The force is now appealing for anybody with information to come forward.
The man was 82-year-old Gordon Notley, of Brockesby Walk, Bury.
A spokeswoman for the police said: “We want to hear from anyone who may have seen Mr Notley cycling in the area that morning.” Anybody with information should contact Pc Ian Jepp or Pc Joe Skippen at the Bury Roads Policing Unit on 01284 774100 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
