A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after his vehicle was in collision with a car.
A stretch of the A143 is currently closed following this morning's accident on the outskirts of Pakenham, near Bury St Edmunds, with diversions in place.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said the motorcyclist had been taken to hospital following the crash, which took place at about 10.30am, but the nature of his injuries were unknown at this stage.
The road is expected to be reopened later this afternoon.
