A CYCLIST was taken to hospital after their bike was involved in a crash with a car in the centre of Ipswich.
A 45-year-old woman was in a collision with a Blue Audi on Upper Orwell Street at just after 2.45pm this afternoon.
The incident initially blocked the road as paramedics treated the woman at the scene, before taking her to Ipswich Hospital.
The extent of her injuries was unknown, but an East of England Ambulance spokesman said she was taken to the Accident and Emergency resuscitation unit.
