A Rolex watch was sold for £15,000 at a specialist sale held by a leading Stowmarket auctioneer.
The Rolex GMT wristwatch was just one extremely valuable lot at the Bishop & Miller Fine Jewellery and Watches Sale, which made a huge £200,000 in total.
The sale was the most successful of the year so far for the firm, also featuring a pair of diamond earrings, which sold for £9,600, and an Omega Thin Arrow military wristwatch, which went for £4,000 to a buyer in Germany.
Oliver Miller, managing director and auctioneer at Bishop & Miller, said: “Our Fine Jewellery & Watches Sale is always a highlight in our auction calendar and we’re thrilled that we continue to attract attention from both old and new customers, from around the world including France, Germany and Australia. We all had a celebration on Saturday to toast the team’s success to holding our most successful sale of the year.”
