FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a house on fire in Red Lodge, near Mildenhall.
The blaze started in the detached bungalow in Turnpike Road at about 9.30pm.
Three crews from Mildenhall and Newmarket attended to battle the blaze, which had completely engulfed the unoccupied property, causing the roof to collapse.
EDF Energy were called to isolate the power. The fire was out by 11pm though crews remained at the scene this morning to deal with hotspots.
