FIREFIGHTERS were called to deal with a blaze in ten acres of stubble as well as nearby trees and hedgerows in Acton near Sudbury.
The fire was reported at 3.30pm and crews from Nayland, Hadleigh, Clare, Sudbury and Long Melford were sent to the scene in Acton Lane.
The flames were put out within an hour.
