A WOMAN and her pets have been rescued from a house fire in St Osyth, near Clacton.
The blaze broke out in a bedroom at the bungalow in Point Clear Road at just after noon today.
Firefighters from Clacton and Weeley tackled the blaze and led a woman aged in her fifties to safety.
They also saved two dogs, two lovebirds and two budgies.
The cause of the fire is being investigated but is not being treated as suspicious.
